19 Weeks Pregnant

We hung around some people that had some type of stomach bug this week.  Henry woke up with a fever and I would up with some cramping and other stuff.  I am praying his body is fighting it off and some sleep will cure him.  He is sleeping right now but rather restless.  I am also praying all of this cramping is from a virus and nothing harmful to baby.

Other than that this pregnancy is going really well.  Some things I am noticing is still can get very tired suddenly.  That could be attributed to pregnancy or not sticking to food I know goes well with my body or lack of exercise.  I seemed to have gotten out of my long term groove ever since Henry was so sick just before Christmas.

I also notice that I go from having no appetite to starving very fast and consume large amounts of food at that point.

Please pray for us if you think of it.  Dave started school and training for a new job so it’s been a transition and we really don’t want him to get sick too.  And it would be great for the rest of it to be fleeting.

Here’s some text from Babycenter.com

Your baby's sensory development is exploding! His brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that he may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to him, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. His kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on his scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on his skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.
