Art Class 3 by Unlikely Art Teachers

In case you missed it my friend Bethany and I are volunteering to teach art at our church’s Christian high school.  Beth’s daughter is a freshman there and our class has 9 – 12 graders.  We have a very limited amount of time because we presented our idea after the schedule and curriculum were set for the year.  We do have a room and a class and students.  For all of that we are very grateful.

The assignment is mixed media on wood.  The mixed media has to involve paint, letters in any form (many chose to mod podge magazine cut outs), wood burning and mod podge something on.

Cutest helper on earth.  Beth and I were paper maching plastic pumpkins which have been our second project but we haven’t been able to get to it.

Above is Beth helping Henry work on the pumpkin.
