Here’s Henry the Pirate and one of his best friends Sarah at the church harvest party on Friday night. I was a procrastinator and ran out just before the party to get his costume. I didn’t find anything at Target but was fortunate to find the $1 brand new pirate costume at Goodwill. I tried to put a beard on him but when he saw himself in the mirror he just kept asking me to take it off. When we were at Goodwill I asked him if he wanted to be a pirate and he said yes. When we got home his dad asked him what a pirate says and he said, “Arrrr". How the heck did he know that?
Here is the mad pirate bouncing around the bouncy tent. He wanted to go back in as soon as he got out. As you can see from the crowd in the photo it was a mob scene, so we spent A LOT of time waiting in line.
Quite shockingly (ha –ha) he was almost as interested in saying hi to the people looking in as he was bouncing.

Here is the accumulation from our blizzard on Saturday. It was pretty nasty weather and many people did have lots of snow and slush and lost power. It was a great excuse to stay in all day and stay in our pajamas.
