Thinking of Soldiers
Henry and I just finished wrapping the presents and box for a local soldier away from his family this Christmas. Our women’s Bible study gave all of the little gifts. My friend Marian, who lost her husband (a colonel) just before he was to retire, gave me this idea. I am sure many of you have done this over the years. I hope those of you who haven’t would consider sending a care package to one of the many men and women who are serving us all over the world. And putting their lives on the line for our freedom.
Google ways to get a name of a soldier or ask around in your local area for friends and family who may have a son, daughter, husband or wife away this holiday season. Then google good gifts for soldiers.

Fun Night
Some ladies from tonight’s Bible Study. Dottie, on the far right, was the guest speaker and did an excellent job.
My little monkey had a blast with the ladies. He loves to show off and get attention (shocker). He really loves having people over. He was on a high for the rest of the night – climbing the walls and having a ball.

Fabric
My cousin Kat makes really incredible hand bags out of really cool fabric. She taught herself. She is so creative!
I love looking at different fabrics too!
My mom is redoing her kitchen, so I have been obsessively looking at fabric even though she didn’t ask me to or has no idea what she wants.
Do you like any of these?

Weird Weather +
Turkey Pot Pie my mom so graciously made us today.
The cloud formation was unusual over the town of Camden today. It’s hard to see in this photo. There was a cloud sitting directly on Mt. Battie and blue sky over it, then gray skies beyond.
