Great 24 Hour Trip

It’s amazing how 24 hours can change your life.  Actually a minute can change your life.  No wait, a second.

It seemed so difficult to actually get on the road to Marlboro this weekend.  Not because we have a baby but because the details of life get in the way.  Maybe our bad attitudes once in a while :).

We rolled into GGCF in Marlborough or Marlboro, MA just before Saturday night’s session for the New England Missions Conference started.  Henry instantly loved the nursery.  Bonus!  We heard a native pastor from Africa and then Siberia.  Such simple truth.  So profound.  Food for the soul.  Then Pastor Scibelli preached an amazing message.  I need to write a few lines here.  So good.  We got Henry out of the nursery and he and I played in the chapel while Dave listened to the after service rap.  We made it to Scott and Kristine’s just before midnight – actually before the other people were staying there.  A Korean missionary to Peru.  A Hungarian once a missionary to Peru.  Scott’s mom, a missionary to Africa and a New York missionary in Peru.  Fun.  We slept in their basement like we were camping and had the best time.  Sometimes I perceive it will be difficult to do things I did before I had a child with a child.  I find some things are and some things are in my head.  Henry is pretty good with going with the flow.  He had a blast this morning playing with Scott and Kristine’s son Camden.  We went to Sunday morning service and headed home after some great messages from Pastor Renaldo, a missionary to Zambia, and Pastor Scibelli again.
