16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
Please read the aforementioned verse. My heart is burdened with the fact that so many do not know that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, fully God and fully man, to shed His blood and pay for all of our sins past, present and future. The only thing separating you and God for all of eternity, the only thing that determines if you will go to heaven or hell, is if you accept what God freely gave to you. Freely. Believe that you are not perfect. You have sinned. Believe that you can have a relationship with God because of what He did for you by paying for your sins. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. From what? You are adopted into the Kingdom of heaven. You are coheirs with Christ. You are God’s child. You have access to Him through prayer. It’s a wonderful thing. The most wonderful. And your are saved from an eternity in hell. That burdens me this morning.
