This morning my study was on Luke 8:26-33. From Beth Moore's book Jesus The One and Only.
I saw something I had never seen before. Jesus healed the demon possessed man who had had super natural demonic powers to break chains, had lived without clothes and slept in the tombs. Wow. What a miracle.
Do you know what the people of the town did? They asked Jesus to leave.
What a thought for meditation. How many times have we recognized the power and authority Jesus has and asked Him to leave an area of our lives or our lives all together. Maybe we feared what He was going to shake up. Maybe we had/have grown comfortable with our chains.
