Wiped Out

We had a wonderful time in Maryland but we are wiped out. There is tons of Laundry to do at the laundromat - for which we are grateful. We got home a little after 11:30 last night.

Leaving - not on a jet plane

It's almost 5 am and I've been up for an hour. Yup. Love those days when I really need sleep because I have a big day infront of me and I can't sleep. But today I just got up and started doing things because there is no sense just lying in bed. I told myself I'd go to group power class this morning if I were up by 5:30 - never dreaming it would happen.

We are leaving for MD around 4pm today. Driving the whole way the Lord willing with our friend B.J. It should be a fun road trip and I hope to get a little nap as we won't be there until 1:30 - 3 am.

I have to go to the gym (I don't have to), go running, bring my dog to doggy overnight camp (I can't take putting her in Kennels), finish doing laundry, make sure the house is clean incase it gets shown, leave a detailed list for my in charge employee, make several phone calls to clients to make sure they can do their own p/up's, run to Rockland, work, pack and I probably forgot things. Kind of scary. No wonder I'm up at 4 am.

We are going to have an incredible time in Maryland. There will be international missionaries there and lots of people from our church in Maryland. Lots of messages from the Word of God. We are really looking forward to getting spiritually recharged, visiting with friends and family, and possibly getting some rest.

Some Pictures

Here are some photos from today. Not in Chronological order.

Our walk (Maggie and I) the sun was burning of the fog.

My friend Mishelle and her family up from MS visiting. I haven't seen her in almost a year. She is pregnant and has a little 13 month old boy. There was a picture of her and me but I looked way bigger than she does - it doesn't exist anymore

Here's my Maggie on our walk

This picture is not so great. Dave's done a great job on the gardens this year.

I finished the day by working and then meeting my networking group at a local restaurant for dinner.

Running Never Felt so Good

I was in such a groove with running for about a month until 2 weeks ago when I went to Mass. I also couldn't go to my weightlifting class for a week and then they had a week break - so it's been two weeks since I've done any hardcore exercise. I have walked my dog and worked at the cleaners which is very physical but that doesn't count in my book. I have had zero energy and been on the cranky side. Today I discovered my drug of choice - other than sugar - I love how I feel after I exercise. I did my group power class for an hour, walked my dog about a mile and then went running with my friend Bonny for about 2.5 miles in the rain. One of my reasons for not running recently was the horrible weather, but today I discover I love running in the rain. It feels so good. Well - it wasn't exactly raining - just very, very foggy with light rain. Wow - I felt great. Then I made a seafood chowder which I finished at 9:40 pm (we are bad about eating late). When I finally sat down, I realized how tired I am.
